Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the largest amusement park operator in North America, has officially announced a comprehensive line-up of park investments for 2025 that will immerse guests in one-of-a-kind thrills and fun. Alongside that, Six Flags also took this opportunity to launch an expanded All Park Passport Add-On that gives Gold and Prestige Passholders and Members unlimited admission and parking to all 42 of the company’s amusement and water parks. This add-on is now on sale across all Six Flags parks at prices ranging from $65 to $125 depending on the Passholders’ Pass or Membership level and purchase location. Furthermore, it is valid for the remainder of the 2024 season at the legacy group of parks based on purchase location. Not just that, beginning from January 6, 2025, the All Park Passport Add-On can also be used at every Six Flags park and water park. Coming back to Six Flags’ new park investments, they include Six Flags Great America – Wrath of Rakshasa, which is going to be designed by experts at Bolliger & Mabillard. Here, riders will get to test their limits on the ride’s beyond-vertical, 171-foot drop, the steepest of any dive coaster in the world. Furthermore, the ride is expected to clock a speed of more than 67 mph, while simultaneously shattering a second world record with five total inversions, the most of any dive coaster in the world. The next Six Flags’ park investment will come in the form of Carowinds’ Camp Snoopy, a project which will unveil two new family-friendly attractions in 2025 as part of the largest investment in family attractions in its history. These attractions will come packaged with splash play zones and a meet-and-greet experience with Peanuts™ costume characters to offer more spots for families to cool off and interact with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the entire Peanuts™ gang.
Joining the mix would an investments earmarked to support Canada’s Wonderland, a place which introduces another first of its kind coaster experience with AlpenFury, the tallest, fastest and longest launch coaster in the region. On top of that, when fire and ice collide inside the iconic and mysterious Wonder Mountain, a force so fierce is slated to blast riders 164 feet vertical through the summit and into the sky. Hold on, there is more, considering riders can even come expecting one of the wildest coaster rides ever created through nine mind-blowing inversions – the most for any launch coaster in North America, at 71 mph, spanning 3,281 feet across the park. Another park investment set to emerge from Six Flags’ camp will be across Six Flags New England – Quantum Accelerator. Here, we are likely to see the introduction of one LSM propulsion multi-launch roller-coaster. This roller-coaster will make it possible for guests to experience 11 moments of “airtime” while riding side-by-side on comfortable coaster cars designed as futuristic motor bikes. With top speed of 45 mph, this new ride is seemingly ideal for both novices, as well as advanced coaster fans.

Moving on, Kings Dominion, central Virginia’s beloved amusement park will also be a beneficiary of Six Flags’ investment. You see, the park will leverage the promised funds to launch Rapterra as part of its 50th anniversary season in 2025. More on Rapterra would reveal how, at 145 feet tall and stretching 3,086 feet long, it is the world’s tallest and longest launched wing coaster.
